Genus theory according to Gauss (Part 2)

ABSTRACT:
I continue my discussion of binary quadratic forms by introducing
a group law for classes of forms of a given discriminant. It will
now be possible to define composition of genera, and that to show that
each genus is of the same size. We conclude with a simple criterion for
determining if a form is a square under the defined composition law.
