Moments of Ramanujan's alternative elliptic integrals

ABSTRACT:
We investigate the moments of Ramanujan's alternative theories
of elliptic integrals and of related hypergeometric functions. This involved quite a lot of symbolic computation. Along the way we are able to give some surprising closed forms for Catalan-related constants and related new hypergeometric identities. We also tell some of the striking history around these matters.
