Primes in arithmetic progressions to spaced moduli
|
ABSTRACT:
We discuss the analog of the Bombieri -Vinogradov theorem where
averaging takes place over the moduli which are values of a polynomial, say
{f(n): Q < f(n) < 2Q}, rather than over {q: Q < q < 2Q}.
The upper bound imposed
on Q is not quite as good as that of Bombieri and Vinogradov.
