Solving Quintic Equations (Part 1)

ABSTRACT:
In the series of talks we are aiming to demonstrate how one can
solve a given Quintic Equation using Theta Series.
This first talk is going to cover a brief history of solution of
polynomials, reduction of the problem by Tschirnhaus transformations
and defining Theta functions and deriving the tools that one will
be need for solving quintic equations as well as a general scheme.
