qSERIES (version 1.1) MAPLE PACKAGE - WINDOWS

• wmprog.txt (maple program, 62740 bytes)
• maple.ini (maple initialization file, 84 bytes)

Today, I installed the qseries package on my Dell N5040 Laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) with Maple 6.
Here's what I did:

• Moved the file wmprog.txt to the directory:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Maple 6
• Moved the file maple.ini to the directory:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Maple 6\Users
• Made a new directory:
  mkdir mylib
  This should be a subdirectory of C:\Program Files (x86)\Maple 6
• Start the (Classic) Worksheet (windows) version of MAPLE.
• In maple:
  > read "wmprog.txt";
  This runs the maple program in wmprog.txt and saves the qseries package to the directory
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Maple 6\mylib
  

  Then quit MAPLE and restart.

• To test the package restart the windows version of maple and enter:
  > with(qseries);

  You should see something like this.
  HERE is an example using the qseries package.

• NOTE:
  To change the default locations it is necessary to edit the first line of the file maple.ini and the third last line of the maple program wmprog.txt.
