MAPLE INITIALIZATIION
UF APPS VERSION

In STEPS 1-3 you will download a zip file, then move it to your M-drive on UF APPS, then unpack it, then run MAPLE to create a mylib directory and set up libname using a maple.ini file. The instructions are below.
  • STEP 1: Download and save the zip file mapleqs.zip
  • STEP 2: Copy this zip file to your M-drive on UF APPS and unpack it.
    6.5 MINUTE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO FOR STEPS 1 AND 2
    Now you should have two new directories in your M-drive: maple-setup and mylib
  • STEP 3: Open MAPLE software in UF APPS. Then open the MAPLE worksheet setup-maple-mdrive.mw (which can be found in the maple-setup directory). Run the commands in STEP 3 of this worksheet to create the file maple.ini. Then exit MAPLE.
Now you should be ready to go to STEP 4 and install the qseries MAPLE package.
  • STEP 4: Re-Open MAPLE oftware in UF APPS. Then this time open the MAPLE worksheet installqseries.mw (which can also be found in the maple-setup directory). In this MAPLE session the MAPLE program wprogqseries.txt will install the qseries package. Then again exit MAPLE.
    10 MINUTE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO FOR STEPS 3 AND 4
    The qseries package should now be installed.
