During the year 2007-08, there will be a comprehensive year long Program in Algebra, Number Theory, and Combinatorics (ANTC). The ANTC Program will be highlighted by four international conferences, namely

  1. Conference on Group Representations and Combinatorics, Sept 2007.
Organizers - Pham Tiep and Peter Sin.
  2. The Chat Yin Ho Memorial Conference on Combinatorics and Groups, February 21-24, 2008.
Organizers - Neil White, David Drake and Hua Wang
  3. Conference on Partitions, q-Series and Modular Forms, March 12 - 16, 2008.
Organizers - Krishnaswami Alladi, George Andrews, Alexander Berkovich, and Frank Garvan. This conference will be preceded by a Student Workshop, March 8 - 11.
  4. Conference on the Conrad Legacy, May 5-8, 2008. An examination of the work of Paul F. Conrad and of its influence on the development in Ordered Algebraic Structures.
    Organizer - Jorge Martinez.

During the year there will be several featured talks of wide appeal. These include:

  1. Special History Lecture by Professor Michel Broué (L'Institut Henri Poincaré, Paris) on Local Group Theory: from Frobenius to Rickard on Wednesday, September 12, 2007.
  2. Tenth Erdos Colloquium by Efim Zelmanov (UCSD) on Friday, January 25, 2008.
  3. Tenth Ulam Colloquium on Eulerian polynomials: from Euler's time to the present by Dominique Foata (Strasbourg) on Monday, February 18, 2008 (4PM).
  4. Special History Lecture by George Andrews (Penn. State) on Monday, February 4, 2008.
  5. Joint Math IFT Colloquium on On some of the Mathmatics in Garrett Lisi's "E8 Theory of Everything" by Bertram Kostant (MIT) on Monday, March 17, 2008. [COLLOQUIUM PHOTOS] [PARTY PHOTOS]
  6. Second Ramanujan Colloquium by Peter Sarnak (Princeton) on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 (4PM). [COLLOQUIUM PHOTOS] [PARTY PHOTOS]
The 2007-8 Program will also include special Lecture Courses:
  1. q-Series in Combinatorics: Permutation Statistics - one month course of lectures in Spring 2008 by Dominique Foata
