Title Of Talk: Exceptional sets in the Waring-Goldbach problem
URL: http://www.math.utexas.edu/~kumchev
Abstract: I will give a brief survey of recent improvements on the classical bounds for cardinalities of exceptional sets in the Waring-Goldbach problem. A typical example is the following result: The number of integers $n \leq X$ such that $n \equiv 4 (mod 24)$ and $n$ cannot be represented as the sum of four squares of primes is $O(X^{5/14 + \epsilon)$.
