Title Of Talk: On the repartition of some q-additive functions
Abstract: The aim of this talk is to give a survey on recent results concerning the arithmetic structure of sequences of integers generated by q-additive functions. In particular, we will describe the combinatorial, arithmetical and statistical properties of sequences of integers with an average sum of digits. This work was initiated in a joint paper with Andras Sarkozy concerning the arithmetic structure of these sequences of integers and recently developped in collaboration with Etienne Fouvry for the estimate of related exponential sums. We will also show the link between these sequences and the more general concept of automata over an infinite alphabet.
