Title Of Talk: Dirichlet Series and SL(2,Z)

Abstract: The construction of an elliptic curve of conductor 15 which arises from a representation of $SL(2,\Z)$ on the space of Dirichlet series has led directly via the Taniyama-Shimura-Weil theorem to a study of the function field of $Gamma(15)$. Peter Sin and I continue to examine various aspects of the situation, and I hope to make use of the tree associated to $PSL(2,\Z)$ to study the zeroes of the zeta function. The task is daunting and engrossing.
