Abstract:

Paul Erdos was the most prolific mathematical problem poser in history. He had the uncanny instinct for identifying problems which were both attackable and ``enabling'', that is, whose solution would lead to a significant advance. In this talk, Dr. Graham will describe some of Paul Erdos' favorite problems.
