SPRING RECOGNITION --APRIL 22, 2010
Spring Recognition will be Thursday, April 22, 11:30AM to 2:30PM.
There will be a program of recognition for faculty and graduate
students.
In the morning there will be a special talk by Warren McGovern
recounting the career and mathematical contributions of Jorge
Martinez. This will be in Little Hall, room 101 beginning at
10:15AM.
In the afternoon, there will be a reception in the Physics Building,
NPB 2205, starting at 4:30PM. Sergei Shabanov will recount the
career and contributions of John Klauder to mathematics and physics.
Thank you for your participation in honoring John and Jorge. They
have contributed greatly to the life of the department over many
years. I am sure that they will appreciate our expressions of appreciation.
