            Contributions to Mathematical Physics - A tribute to Gerard Emch edited by Twareque S. Ali and Kalyan B. Sinha Hindustan Book Agency, New Delhi 2007 (xviii+217 pages) has just appeared. It is a collection of papers dedicated to Professor Emch who retired in Spring 2005.

            Graduate Research Professor John Thompson will receive an Honorary Doctorate from Ohio State University during their March 2008 Commencement, as well as delivering a series of lectures.
